The Simulator Chapter 94

Lu Yao used the last Apostle Seal to convert Phyllus.
With this set of formal temple formalities binding him, he was able to trust Fellows.

A reminder showed up on the screen.
—Converting him into an Apostle of your pantheon requires the consumption of Faith. Do you need to consume 1000 points of faith to convert the apostle?
[Yes] [No]
Lu Yao clicked Yes.

–The lost Apostle has heard your call, your power of faith has repaired his broken shell and dried up soul, and he is rapidly recovering from the sea of Miasma.
-[Apostle] Phileus, follow your will, carry out your oracle, and fight for the fire of your faith.
Fellus gradually changed from transparency back into a solid body, the main body being a plain looking skeleton.
It bowed down to Lu Yao in front of the monitor in a regular manner.
Lu Yao asked about its Skeleton Hasa God.
The Messianic Prayer was just an enquiry, and it might not be able to get comprehensive information. But turning Fellows into apostles and getting on its own ship, then it would naturally do its best.

In a confrontation between gods, the difference in information was fatal, Lu Yao knew this first hand.
Text appeared on top of the skull man’s head, “Lord Yao God, Skeleton Hasa God is one of the Gods, ranked in the Temple of the Gods [Whistling Man] Divine Palace, and one of the 19 Subordinate Gods of [Whistling Man], ranked 18th.”
“God Wrecking Hasa has two apostles, and the other is much stronger than me.”

“When he entered this shattered world, he also suffered a stronger rule backlash and went completely insane. The Skeleton Hasa God let me dismantle him into bones and craft him into a skeleton creature.”
Lu Yao had obtained another piece of useful information.
When an alien god descended across the border, the stronger its apostle was, the greater the intensity of the backlash it received.

The rules of the Shard World had small loopholes though. However, under the layers of hard constraints and blockades, it was largely able to ensure that the Shard World was a safe zone for newbies.
There should be very few gods who were willing to pay the price of self-mutilation and start over with a half-pin.
“The Skeleton Hat God has seven treasures. But in order to withstand your divine might, He put 5 of them all into the Flame of Faith to quickly replenish His faith.”
Lu Yao came to a realisation.

No wonder the Wrecking Hat God resisted the first round of the Blitzkrieg. It turned out that he had emptied out his family’s wealth and converted it all into the power of faith.
Lu Yao had done this once as well, and he had burned 10 points of Faith with his Golden Dice.

This operation was a loss. There was no explicit price tag for the temple bonfire, and it was completely opaque how much faith would be burned out. Divine players wouldn’t use it until they were at the end of their rope.
Lu Yao learnt from his painful experience and decided to change his playing style.
In the time to come, it was important to upgrade and optimise tactics to accurately strike the dark forces of the Broken World’s gods end-to-end, striving to reduce the waste and consumption of resources.
To put it simply, it was to strive to maximise the results of victory.

This time, Lu Yao’s expenses for the blitzkrieg launched against the Skeleton Hasa Gods were not too high.
The first round of Intense Lightning Cluster alone, that was a whole 5,000 points of Faith expenditure.
Then he also activated the [Egil’s Fire] for Meteorite Paste, and his ammo level was -1 again.
In the end, he also lost 5 props in disguise!
Lu Yao only had regrets in his heart, great regrets.

However, he quickly adjusted his mindset.
What was one of the most important qualities of a fighter?
It was optimism.
A senior hitman said it well.
Being happy every day isn’t really being happy, being unhappy every day is really being happy.
Lu Yao returned his attention to Fellows.
Earlier, Fellows had deliberately bragged, claiming to be the weakest Apostle under the Skeleton Hat God. This was of course to show that his side was powerful in order to pull the Deep Sea Lord into the fold.

After all, it was an individual with [Wisdom LV10].
Lu Yao asked about the [Tapestry God] again.
“Lord Yao God, the gods keep their distance from each other, even if they are in the same divine palace, they are still wary of each other. God Skeleton Hasa doesn’t know much about the Tapeworm God.”
“……”

Phyllus pondered for a moment, “I only know that the Tapeworm God has two apostles. God Wrecking Hasa is wary of the Tapeworm God, so he has also asked me to always find ways to check those two apostles.”

“The first apostle is an earth elemental creature that possesses strong defence, with a weakness of slow movement and lack of active aggression.”
“The second apostle is a special kind of life, good at hiding and lurking, characteristics unknown.”
The Skeleton Man’s knowledge was limited, but the information it gave had given Lu Yao a basic idea of his enemies.

Several actual battles with godly players, the information level he had dared to directly take on other gods relied on to crush them.
Lu Yao could fight when he wanted to, and leave when he wanted to.
Even if the other party was a tough opponent and couldn’t handle it all at once, he could still retreat. However, the other party couldn’t find their temple for a moment and couldn’t return fire on their own body.

With the battle breaking out on the enemy’s idol and territory, the enemy could only lose more and more, and the more they fought, the less chance they had to turn the tide.
Lu Yao gave Isabelle an order: notify the Garlic Tribe in Yao City and Salt City to have the Pixellets beware of heretical gods. If there are any suspicious stone statues, buildings or creatures and humans, immediately report them to the Apostles or Prophet Hemera.
……

After setting up, Lu Yao looked at his team of apostles.
The Blood Knight was a Senior Instructor and Charge Officer who made soldiers out of corpses and salt.
The Skeleton Man was an artisan specialising in Skeleton Legos.

The Yeti was the crazy divine thief.
Just Isabelle was a normal person.
Lu Yao looked up to the sky and sighed.
The team was really not easy to lead.
He suddenly understood Boss Huang somewhat.
The world was a big place, but there were always fewer people who could really do the work than thought.

Lu Yao took a sip of Coke to calm down.
He suddenly found a blind spot.
There seemed to be another special skeleton in the castle that hadn’t been able to be put to use yet.
The chief apostle of the Forest God, the giant Forrest.

Since the suspension of the Corruptor manufacturing project, the mutilated corpse of Forrest was still in the castle. There was a shortage of manpower right now, so why not let Phyllus make use of it and see if he could assemble something.

Lu Yao asked Fellows for his opinion.
An exclamation mark appeared above the skeletal man’s head, ”The corpse of a High Apostle? That’s superior material, Lord Yao God, I appreciate your generosity and trust!”
“My subordinate will definitely never waste high-grade materials and create superior skeleton creatures to fight for your faith!”
Lu Yao operated the Deep Sea Lord to hold Fellows and travelled all the way to the Western Continent Castle.

Stepping into the depths of the castle, a light bulb lit up above Fellows’ head when he saw the small mountain of giant corpses.
“Fantastic!”
“What a lean body! What crystalline, round bones! What eye-catching lustre, seductively hard and fascinating lines!”
An ecstatic grin emerges from the top of the skeleton man’s head, and he raises his arms in the air.

Fellows looked in the direction of the screen and asked with some disbelief, “Lord Yao God, all of this giant’s skeletons belong to me? Really?”
Lu Yao typed.
–only the bones.

Fellows climbed onto the giant’s head with four curved horns and began to dismantle the bones one by one, moving briskly.
It hummed as it dismantled it.
A huge pile of garbled code appeared on the skeleton man’s head, and Lu Yao guessed that it was singing some kind of hometown ditty.

The conversation was split into two.
Forrest’s skeleton went to Fellows, and the rest belonged to Blood Knight Nevid.
Right now it was in use, Lu Yao had the Blood Knight use the giant’s rotting flesh to mix with the other corpses in stock to speed up the creation of the Corruptors.
Time passed by minute by minute.

Half an hour later, there were no more traces of the Giant Forrest in the castle.
The Blood Knights created 38 Corruptors in one breath. This batch of Corruptors had excellent strength, with the lowest level being LV15, and the highest even reaching LV19, already a notable ready-to-fight force.
Under the Blood Knight’s drills, the Corruptors fought each other in close combat, punching each other to the bone, reminding Lu Yao of the elder brother gladiators in the Colosseum.

Who wouldn’t like to see fierce men fighting in the flesh?
When he looked at Fellows on the other side, the smile on his face faded.
After all this, you just used the bones of a High Apostle to spell a ball for me?
