“Mr. Feng, what did you mean by that text message just now?”
Hathaway’s voice asked urgently over the phone.
Feng Shenye held the phone and said indifferently, “Just the literal meaning.”
At those words, the phone section fell into silence.
A moment later, Hathaway’s somewhat hoarse voice came out of the phone, “Where did Mr. Feng find my daughter, and where is my daughter now.”
“To find out where your daughter is, I think you should ask her father, I think the man knows better than I do.”
After the words were said, Feng Shenye simply hung up the phone.
On the other end, Hathaway put the phone down and couldn’t wait to get to Laurieen.
In the brightly lit living room, Laurie came down from upstairs in her robe.
He looked at Hathaway, who didn’t look right, and questioned with a frown, “What are you doing in my house in the middle of the night, out of bed?”
Hathaway did not respond immediately, but walked quickly up to Laurion.
“I ask you, is Hathaway not dead?”
She asked urgently, clutching Lauryn’s arm.
Startled, Lauryn denied it, “Don’t you know best whether Cathleen is dead or not? You saw her buried yourself.”
“No, Mr Feng said Kathleen wasn’t dead, there’s no way a man like him would lie!”
Hathaway shook her head in denial.
Lauryn, however, paled at her words, “Who did you say told you that, Feng Shenye?”
“Yes, that’s him!” Hathaway nodded her head.
Seeing this, Lauryn hurriedly took out her phone and contacted Cathleen.
Only the phone was able to dial, but there was never an answer, and for a moment an uneasiness rose up within him.
Hathaway took in his expression and finally realised that something was wrong.
Feng Shenye had told her the news, but how could Feng Shenye know that Cathleen was not dead.
Unless ……
“Laurie En, tell me, if Cathleen is not dead, is she trying to get revenge on Wen Shiyu!”
Hathaway questioned through clenched teeth.
Laurieen was a little weak and annoyed by the question, “So what if it is, you, a mother, don’t know how to avenge your own daughter, are you still not allowing her to take revenge herself?!”
Hearing these words, Hathaway was furious.
“Is that revenge? She’s taking revenge, she’s taking death!”
She shouted at Lauryn in annoyance, really wanting to just pretend that this daughter was as good as dead.
But it was her own daughter, and she had come back from the dead, so she couldn’t just ignore it, so she flew to the South Side overnight.
The next day, Wen Shiyu woke up in the afternoon.
When she woke up, she felt as if her body had been run over by a car, and the pain made her suck in cold air.
What was worse was her head, which was dizzy and nauseous.
She wrinkled her brow tightly with a look of distress.
At that moment, little Bao’er found her heart coming and called out joyfully, “Mummy, you’re finally awake.”
Hearing this, Feng Shenye, who was dealing with his work next to him, also walked over with big steps.

The doctor nodded, “There is, but I personally do not recommend using painkillers, using too much of them is not good for your body.”
Hearing that, Feng Shenye looked hesitant.
Seeing this, Wen Shiyu gently touched him with her hand and shook her head, “Forget it, I can bear it and it will pa*s.”
Feng Shenye had to agree.
The doctor then explained some precautions and left with the nurse.
Only the three members of the family were left in the ward.
Feng Shenye carefully helped Wen Shiyu to sit up.
Little Bao’er was also beside her and brought a cup of warm water, “Mummy, I’ll feed you some water.”
