Always Been Yours Chapter 364

Hathaway looked at Wen Shiyu disapprovingly and added with a smile, “But tonight our orchestra is having a, a little party just for you to celebrate your birthday.”

Wen Shiyu was, after all, Hathaway’s closed-door student, and many people knew how much she was valued in the future, and almost everyone in the orchestra was happy to befriend her.

So when they heard that Wen Shiyu had returned from her vacation, they planned to throw a make-up birthday party for Wen Shiyu.

Wen Shiyu knew that this was a kind gesture from the band members, so she did not refuse.

That evening, a small birthday party was held within the park.

The orchestra members also played a special birthday song for Wen Shiyu and prepared a birthday cake.

Wen Shiyu was very happy and the gloom that had gathered in her heart because of Feng Shenye’s and their departure lifted a lot.

“Thank you all, thank you all.” She thanked every member of the paradise from the bottom of her heart.

After the cake was shared, people started to approach Wen Shiyu with gla*ses of wine to chat.

Each of them exuded goodwill towards Wen Shiyu.

“Wen, your performance at the anniversary celebration that day is spreading in the circle these days, and many musicians are saying that the headmaster has found a good student.”

“There are also people asking after the headmaster when there will be a solo performance by you, but the headmaster said he won’t be arranging for you to perform for the time being.”

“Yeah, the headmaster says you still have a lot of technique flaws so he’s not going to let you go out on a solo.”

“All this time I thought the headmaster was quite strict with us, but I didn’t expect that compared to you, I think we’re actually quite happy.”

The crowd was talking, but it did give Wen Shiyu an idea of what had happened in the past two days while she was away.

She found that she was liking this current band more and more.

I also wondered if foreign bands followed their worship of the strong.

Here, if one wanted to move up the ladder, then they would use their strength to defeat their opponents, unlike at home, where there was a lot of hooking up and pandemonium.

Later in the evening, the party ended and Wen Shiyu was a bit dazed because he had drunk a lot of wine.

Seeing this, Hathaway was very uneasy, “Shiyu, can you go home like this?”

“Yes, teacher, don’t worry about me.”

Although Wen Shiyu was slightly drunk, she was still sober.

However, Hathaway did not believe her words, “I’ll still arrange for a driver to take you back.”

After the words were said, she didn’t give Wen Shiyu a chance to refuse and went to make the arrangements.

Wen Shiyu looked at the departing teacher and the smile on her face widened a few more times, feeling very nostalgic.

A few minutes later, Hathaway returned with the driver she had temporarily caught working with, the piano player of the orchestra, a very gentle girl.

She helped Wen Shiyu to leave.

As a result, just after leaving the orchestra, Wen Shiyu saw an unexpected person.

“Teacher Pei?” She looked at the person not far away in surprise.

Under the dim streetlight, Pei Shixi was wearing a casual suit, his body was long and well-proportioned, and his handsome, deep face wore a faint smile.

“Miss Wen.”

Seeing this, Wen Shiyu apologised to the girl and told her to go back first, then walked over quickly, looking at Pei Shixi with a curious face.

“Teacher Pei, why are you here?”

“The orchestra came back from their performance, so I came back with them.”

Pei Shixi explained, his gentle gaze falling on Wen Shiyu’s cheeks tinged with scarlet clouds, something seemed to flash under his eyes, “I heard that today is your birthday, so I rushed over especially.”

Wen Shiyu was stunned, feeling that Pei Shixi was too thoughtful.

“Thanks.”

She scratched her head to say thank you, but a strange feeling rose in her heart, not knowing what to say.

The atmosphere was a little awkward for a moment.

Pei Shixi also noticed it and suggested, “Let’s take a walk.”

Wen Shiyu hesitated for a moment, but nodded her head and agreed.

The two of them walked slowly along the street, the city lights stretching out their figures.

After walking for a while, Wen Shiyu was also a little more awake from the wind.

She asked, “Is there anything coming up for your band?”

“Not for now, this time off, about half a month or so.” Pei Shixi smiled lightly in response and talked about Wen Shiyu’s anniversary performance again, lamenting, “I just came back and heard that you made a big splash at the Music University’s anniversary performance, but unfortunately I wasn’t there and missed it.”
