However, his movement was not subtle, and with Kathleen keeping an eye on him, it was natural for him to notice.
Kathleen narrowed her eyes at Wenshiyu and looked at him thoughtfully.
After a moment, she said half-jokingly, “Pei Xi, you’re not rejecting me because you’ve asked Shiyu out, are you?”
Wen Shiyu was stunned, not understanding how the topic of conversation had come to her when she was just a silent spectator.
She quickly waved her hand and denied, “I don’t have a date with Mr. Pei, I have to stay and practice my music tonight.”
The implication was that she didn’t have time.
