Wen Shiyu explained frankly, and then looked at Hathaway somewhat nervously.
Hathaway naturally saw Wen Shiyu’s unease and raised her eyebrows slightly, “So you’re blaming me for not giving you a chance to perform?”
“No, I don’t mean that, teacher you don’t misunderstand.”
Wen Shiyu anxiously waved her hands to deny it, “I know that teacher did not arrange for me to perform, it must be because my ability is not enough.”
Looking at the flustered Wen Shiyu, Hathaway lost her smile.
“Well, I’m just teasing you.”
She said, and her expression got serious, “By all rights, an idea like yours might not be allowed in another orchestra, but I can set a precedent for you to go out and get some experience.”
“Really?”
Wen Shiyu looked at Hathaway with delight.
Hathaway nodded and smiled, “Also your idea is a good one, and as you said, a lot of things come from life.”
“Thank you, teacher.”
Wen Shiyu was grateful for Hathaway’s enlightenment.
Hathaway smiled and continued, “If you go outside to experience it, I suggest you find some violin gigs in high-end restaurants, just as an internship.”
“I was thinking the same thing.”
Wen Shiyu didn’t expect her teacher’s ideas to coincide with her own, so she couldn’t help but say some more of her thoughts at that moment.
Hathaway listened quietly, and occasionally corrected some misconceptions.
The conversation unknowingly turned to the subsequent arrangements for the orchestra.
“Just in time, when you’re almost done with your internship, I’m going to start a second orchestra on my side, and you’ll have to take the lead alone then.”
“Teacher is going to form a second orchestra?”
Wen Shiyu was stunned.
Hathaway nodded, “The first orchestra is now so mature that I don’t need to worry about it anymore, and the orchestra has almost finished training the musicians it has recruited over the past few years, so it’s time to start a second one.”
She said, looking at Wen Shiyu expectantly, “When the time comes, this orchestra will be handed over to you to manage, so you should work hard.”
Wen Shiyu was stunned by this sudden good news.
After reacting, she nodded her head joyfully and promised, “I will definitely work hard and train myself.”
Looking at the energetic Wen Shiyu, Hathaway nodded in relief.
The reason why she had agreed to take Wen Shiyu as a student in the first place was that apart from the child’s excessive talent, it was also because the child was motivated enough.
She affirmed, “I also believe you will be able to.”
That evening, the training was over.
Wen Shiyu approached a few colleagues she usually talked to and invited them, “Let’s have dinner together tonight, my treat.”
The colleagues didn’t refuse, and happily followed Wen Shiyu out.
They went to a western restaurant with an uncomplicated environment and sat by the window.
Several people were talking and laughing, chatting about music and fashion.
During the seat, Wen Shiyu intentionally asked, “Do you know of any places where you can perform?”
“Shiyu, why are you suddenly asking this question?”
The other few people froze and looked at Wen Shiyu in confusion.
Wen Shiyu didn’t hide anything and confessed, “Teacher has agreed that I should find opportunities to exercise myself outside, but I’m not very familiar with this side yet, so I wanted to ask you guys.”
After hearing this, the colleagues were all envious of her.
“Shiyu, the headmaster is too good to you, isn’t he, to allow you to look for opportunities outside.”
A few other people nodded in agreement as well.
Wen Shiyu smiled, didn’t say much and asked again, “Do you know where there are places like the ones I mentioned?”
“There are many such places in our Vienna, it depends on what you are asking for.”
A few colleagues looked at each other, and gave Wen Shiyu a scientific explanation.
Wen Shiyu thought about it and said, “I don’t have any requirements, but let’s try to have a place that’s a bit more upscale, so that both the restaurant and the guests have certain requirements for the performers, and it also allows me to train myself.”
