Along with the emcee’s words, Cindy carried her skirt at a graceful pace as she walked onto the stage.
“Hello teachers of the judges, I’m going to perform ‘The Devil’s Trill’.”
With those words, she half bent her knees and set up her violin.
The judges and the audience on stage were amazed.
There was no other reason than that this ‘Devil’s Trill’ is one of the most difficult violin pieces in the world, with the trill being the most difficult, and very few people would use this piece for a competition or test, as the slightest inattention would result in a mistake.
Even so, the crowd waited with bated breath.
Everyone listened intently as the light piano notes rang out.
The piece belongs to the key of G minor and is divided into 3 movements.
The first movement is a slow movement with a melancholy, somewhat sorrowful melody, and even a few stronger notes that sound a bit like a cry; the second movement is an Allegro, which starts with a few strong notes and is quite powerful, and then the melody goes on and on until the end of the Allegro, when it returns to the slow movement and enters the third movement, with a lyrical melody that seems like the feeling after an orgy, and slightly decadent.
The three movements are interspersed with a number of very difficult trills that make the whole piece even more beautiful and moving.

In response, Cindy was sorry it wasn’t a perfect score, but was nonetheless satisfied.
With five nines, she believed there was no way Wen Shiyu could surpa*s herself, and she was certain to win the position of chief violinist.
With that in mind, she raised the corners of her mouth in triumph, looking as if she had won.
She then turned around and went backstage, just in time to meet Wen Shiyu who was walking towards her.
“You’re going to lose!”
Cindy whispered in a voice that only the two of them could hear as they pa*sed each other.
Wen Shiyu paused slightly, but did not stop, striding away.
She didn’t take Cindy’s words to heart and stood at the bottom of the stage waiting for the MC to announce herself up.
She had thought that she would be nervous at this point, but she found herself in a surprisingly calm and collected state of mind.
Without waiting for her to think more, the MC’s voice came over from the stage.
“Here is our last contestant for the test, number 18.”
Upon hearing this, Wen Shiyu took a deep breath before gracefully and calmly stepping onto the stage.
She began with a polite greeting and salute, “Hello judges, the piece I’m going to perform is Paganini’s ’24 Caprices'”
At these words, the stage erupted.
For this piece, contains the most complex of violin techniques.
It is even famous for its many difficult techniques, its super-octave intervals, and its fast playing in the higher octaves.
It can be said that this piece is a high challenge for any professional musician.
Both Pei Shixi and Mona were sweating for Wen Shiyu.
