When Wen Shiyu saw this, she couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
That evening, when it was her turn to perform, she found that the restaurant was surprisingly full.
There was even a queue of people waiting outside the door.
Inside the restaurant, the other diners immediately gave Wen Shiyu a warm welcome when they saw her come out.
Although Wen Shiyu was surprised, she quickly calmed down though.
After all, she had seen scenes even more spectacular than this, and there was nothing to be nervous about at all.
She then walked onto the performance stage with her violin in hand.
The other diners saw this and stopped to applaud.
Soon, the light and melodious sound of the violin spread throughout the restaurant.
Everyone was mesmerised.
At the end of the song, thunderous applause rang out once again.
Wen Shiyu gave a salute and prepared to leave, but was unexpectedly approached by many people offering flowers.
There was even a gentlemanly and handsome looking man in a suit and tie who knelt down in front of Wen Shiyu with a diamond ring and proposed.
“Miss Wen, I hope you can marry me, ever since you came to the restaurant to perform, I’ve been fascinated by you, maybe you don’t know me, but I’ve come to every one of your performances, I hope you can give me a chance.”
When these words came out, the diners around were stunned.
Wen Shiyu was also confused.
She looked at the man dryly, embarra*sed and at a loss for words, not knowing what to do.
Luckily, a gentle voice saved her at that moment.
“Sorry, this one has a master.”
At the sound of the voice, the diners around them subconsciously side-stepped out of the way.
Only Angus, with a powerful aura, stepped out from behind the crowd.
He bypa*sed the man who was kneeling on one knee and stood directly beside Wen Shiyu, exuding an aristocratic aura and looking at the man from above.
The man looked at Angus, who was as reserved as he was, with a dazed expression.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know about this.”
He said, standing up from the ground, not really stirring up any nonsense.
Seeing this, Wen Shiyu was slightly relieved and said detachedly and politely, “Thank you for your kindness, but I have a fiancé, I’m really sorry.”
“I don’t blame you, it’s because I didn’t understand the situation clearly beforehand and caused you trouble.”
The man looked at Wen Shiyu with some embarra*sment and said with a sincere expression, “No matter what, I will also support you.”
With these words, he put the flowers on the table to the side and left.
Looking at the man’s distant back, Wen Shiyu was crying and laughing, and at the same time her whole body relaxed.
She looked at the other diners who were still gathered around, the corners of her lips raised in a polite smile, “I’m glad that you all enjoyed my performance, I appreciate everyone’s feelings, let’s all go back to dining, otherwise the food will get cold later.”
At these words, the diners were curious about Wen Shiyu and Angus’ relationship, but they didn’t dwell on it.
They nodded to Wen Shiyu and returned to their respective seats.
But even so, they could not stop the gossip inside them.
Wen Shiyu noticed the curious gazes coming from all around and extended an invitation to Angus, “Why don’t we go to the lounge and talk?”
Angus naturally agreed.
When he entered the lounge, he couldn’t help but sigh, “I didn’t expect you to be so popular now.”
Wen Shiyu was also not expecting it.
She thought of what had just happened and said gratefully, “Thank you for relieving me just now, I’ll treat you to dinner some day.”
“Then that makes a total of two meals Miss Wen owes me.”
Angus looked at Wen Shiyu with a smile.
Wen Shiyu froze for a moment, then remembered that she had also said something about treats when she was at the bar before.
She couldn’t help but lose her smile and said, “Indeed, I’ll make up for those two meals when I have a break.”
“There’s no rush on that, there’s no harm in treating when you’re free.”
Angus didn’t care much about this.
Wen Shiyu nodded.
The two of them talked for a while longer, and it was completely dark outside.
Wen Shiyu looked at the time on her wristwatch and offered her farewell, “It’s very late, I have to go back.”
“It’s so late, let me take you back.”
