Then the washroom door was opened from inside and Fu Jingting came out with his wheelchair under control, just in time to see Rong Shu fidgeting with her mobile phone and asked, “Who were you talking to on the phone just now?”
When he was inside, he heard her talking to someone.
At this hour, there were no outsiders in the ward other than the two of them, so she could only be talking to someone else on the phone.
Rongshu didn’t hide it from him and pushed him towards the hospital bed, “It’s Ah Qi, I should have told him about Xiaochuan’s disappearance, he and Xiaochuan are also friends, so I didn’t think I should hide it from him.”
“And what happened, what was his reaction?” Fu Jingting asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.
Rongshu lifted the covers for him, “Ah Qi had the same reaction as you, he also said that he had known that this day would come.”

Rongshu looked at the man, squeezed the corners of her mouth and gave a muffled sound, then went to bed and lay beside him.

In the dream, Xiaochuan was standing in a dark place and was smiling at her.
She was happy to run over to him, but Ogawa stopped her, not letting her pa*s, and then gave her final words of farewell.
After saying this, Ogawa turned around and walked towards the deeper darkness. After a few steps, Ogawa’s figure turned into a star and disappeared into the air.

However that little bit of starlight, which she could not keep, eventually disappeared into her hand.
She was so devastated that she crouched down directly in that darkness and cried, weeping sadly.
After crying for some time, she heard someone in the void calling her wife.
She slowly raised her head and saw a sudden white light above her head, and then a large, slender, good-looking hand came out of the white light.
She subconsciously stretched out her own hand to grasp that big hand, and when she did, the darkness around her began to disintegrate, and finally dissipated completely, replaced by a brightness.
Only then did she realise that she was still lying beside Fu Jingting, and that it was already daylight around her.
When Fu Jingting saw that Rong Shu had opened her eyes, he also breathed a sigh of relief, “Finally, you’re awake.”
Rongshu turned her head to look at the man.
The man was looking down at her with a worried look on his face.
She blinked her eyes and asked, somewhat confused, “What happened to me?”

She turned sideways and wrapped her arms around the man’s waist, burying her head in his chest, “I’m sorry for making you worry.”
“I’m your husband, worrying about you is also something I should do.” Fu Jingting gently patted her back, “So what, what did you dream about Li Chuan?”
Rongshu bit her lower lip, “I dreamed that Xiaochuan said goodbye to me.”
After that, she told him everything in her dream.

There was another one, a new wedding ring that she wore on her left ring finger when she and Fu Jingting re-married and got their license years ago, and he asked a*sistant Zhang to help him buy it.
Now after taking off the ring that Xiaochuan had given her, she was left with only the two wedding rings on her left hand.
